THE colour: BLUE
Pr. Number: 2021-1-DE04-ESC30-SOL- 000036686
- The group of young girls believes that in this way, the public will be able to get closer to the blue environment and therefore be interested in it, after realizing that it is part of it and immediately necessary for its survival. The team relied on the fact that what is presented as environmentally friendly, whether it is a symbol or an image, is usually represented by the color green, which symbolizes nature. Thus, the team hypothesized that this tactic tends to motivate people to respect the environment in which they live, but in a way restricts interest in the “green environment” as if indifferent to the “blue”. Although the rationale behind the symbolism of ecological behavior with the color green is known, and everything else, clearly encompasses the environment as a whole, our team would like to seek to implement the plan to protect the environment, through the spectrum of the emergence of blue culture, with the representation of the environment and with green but also with blue images and symbols, according to their hypothesis that, the human eye should get used to blue images of the environment, in order for people to connect the blue color with ecological behavior and lead to water protection in general. Specifically, through its program, the team will seek: -To inform young citizens about environmental pollution -To raise awareness and wake up young people to take action to protect the environment – To make young people aware of the need for water protection and to highlight the blue ecological culture – To transmit to young citizens, values such as cooperation, teamwork, respect and selflessness, to achieve goals for the sustainability of the planet. To achieve this the team will seek to: -Prepare in maximum for the training of the participants -Manify the Worskhops with the appropriate participants who will show zeal in the defense of the environment -Design the appropriate communication policy so that the project becomes as recognizable as possible, influencing as large an audience – Defense and transmit the values of the EU, motivating other young people to engage with programs under common visions for development – Implement the project with the ultimate goal of respect and solidarity.
Slow Fashion for Fast Societies
Pr. Number: 2021-1-DE04-ESC30-SOL- 000036686
- “Slow Fashion for Fast Societies” is a project that aims to raise awareness in our society about the need to adopt ecological & sustainable behaviors starting from our own closet. Our team has collaborated in the past on projects to defend the environment & warn about climate change and by responding to European imperatives, through projects such as ESC, is now adding another project to the European agenda for environmental protection, focused on sustainable fashion. According to these considerations, we have prepared the following proposal for a 12-month project in which we will develop informational workshops, an awarenessraising campaign, and interactive activities in order to achieve the objectives outlined below: ~ inform young citizens and our whole society about sustainable fashion and the impact of fast fashion ~ raise awareness among young people and society about the need to adopt ecological behaviors in relation to fashion & create a mindset on fashion that will make the change ~ promote the values and attitudes that the EU promotes towards sustainable societies ~ encourage our society to support programs that promote community development and foster young people, in particular, to get involved in initiatives that promote the 17 SDGs, and to cooperate for the common good We aim, through common concern and the achievement of common goals, to highlight the need for solidarity. When the people directly affected by fast fashion are miles away, when climate change has sent out its warning signals but “so what if it doesn’t affect us now”, then issues such as sustainable fashion are out of the question. This is our main challenge: awakening us for ourselves and for the whole, for us now and for them tomorrow. As the world’s young people hold the reins for future societies, our work will focus on them as a target group. Through our project, we will try to get in touch with young people, reach out to them and invite them to participate in our seminars and activities. We expect them to be those who will claim a sustainable future from themselves and their elders. Our program comes to address all these concerns and to benefit young people and the society in which we live. Our project will raise awareness of a key phenomenon that concerns us all, encourage young people to get involved in an innovative project, develop our knowledge and strengthen our skills, inspire on the implementation of projects that promote sustainability, communicate the values promoted by the EU and the mindsets on which we will build our future sustainable societies ..for all.
Women Win through Webbing - A call to action for women inclusion in the field of digital entrepreneurship & innovation
Pr. Number: 2021-1-DE04-KA152-YOU- 000020677
- The Internet has become the most widely used tool to communicate and exchange information & has modified the way that people exchange information, entertain themselves & interact with other people. WWW aims to empower girls to reconsider their role in society, through intercultural learning, cooperation, exchange of skills, discussion with local youth. So WWW objectives were: -Combat gender stereotypes and promote role models through the motivation of girls to learn digital skills -The inclusion of young people especially those with fewer opportunities in a European mobility project, in which they will find the space to connect with others, engage, and finally to play a more active role in the digital age -Development of non-formal learning strategies and methods related to digital skills and use of social media -Improving the participation of young people in the field of digital entrepreneurship & innovation -Encourage them to stand up for European values and to take part in actions designed to promote them -Force youth to European SDGs. To meet the needs and goals highlighted above we developed a partnership under the common objective of gender equality & strengthening of digital abilities. We found that Sweden & Finland are home to the absolute most dynamic ladies in the digital economy. Ladies in Greece among other countries are the most drastically averse to be participating, either through work, utilization of the web, or skills. We designed 2 activities corresponding to 2 workshops for 24 young people (Germany & Greece | A1 & A2): indoor & outdoor activities, interacting with the local youth, visiting cultural spots, research, creation of a digital skills database. The project’s ultimate objective was to promote the values of diversity, human rights, intercultural dialogue, and tolerance while fostering young people and especially empower girls to seek more about digital education, strengthening them to be active members in the digital age, empowering them to let their ideas & thoughts turn into inspirational forms by using the digital tools & finally being creative together.
Fostering Youth Participation and Athletisism Values - SIEG
Pr. Number: 2022-1-DE04-ESC30-SOL- 000067192
- It is commonly known that youth empowerment is of paramount importance for the EU and one of the major EU’s principles is to ensure youth’s active involvement in the development of policies that affect them, the promotion of dialogue between young people, their organizations and the local authorities. Υoung people must have a key-role in renewing democracy and developing an effective citizenship, especially through new and innovative forms of participation. Youth work, volunteering and non-formal education is recognised as models of youth participation that contribute to young people’s self-development and citizenship. Our group will include young people from diverse sociocultural and economic backgrounds and emphasis will be given in the inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities. Τhe EU preoccupied by the continued deterioration of the social situation and life chances of young people in the context of the European economic crisis, promotes meaningful opportunities and programmes for consultation and participation of young people from disadvantaged neighbourhoods in all matters related to the planning and management of their living environment. Young people from our community will be empowered as active citizens by participating in activities that enable them to better understand, connect and improve their neighbourhoods through science, cultural activity and game/sport. Through a cycle of sport events that will take place during the project, young people will be engaged with activities that encourage them to feel, explore and connect with the local space they live. Through such an interaction, young people will develop their sense of interculturalism, social inclusion and solidarity, and perhaps most importantly respect and cultural awareness for their society realities within a diverse European context. Specifically, young people aged 18 to 30 will be invited to actively participate in the workshops. Youth will be called to commit themselves to undertaking actions at the workshops and then convey the knowledge and experience gained in these workshops by conducting similar activities within our community. Through this process they will act as youth ambassadors for the transfer of knowledge and experiential learning gained from their participation in the project. In order to select the best candidates who will meet the criteria and goals of this concept, our team will release open calls to every youth member who has a sense of responsibility and love for the local community. The project design provokes youth to sense the local spaces they live in and also equip them with knowledge through sport and non-formal learning on how to sense diverse. Through their training in innovative workshops and sport activities they will embody their experiences and become sensitized about their cultural identities. Moreover, all the activities/workshops draw ideas are supervised by leading individuals who bring into the project the latest trends that exist in their fields. Every member of our team brings into the project their creativity, imagination and enthusiasm in a cycle of sport events that complement each other and help them to develop different basic and transversal skills.
A Big Business Starts Small - S2B
Pr. Number: 2022-1-DE04-ESC30-SOL- 000067204
- The is a multi-activity project that will equip youth from Germany with insights and useful and adjustable entrepreneurial digital tools that can be used to educate youth in order to to gain the knowledge and experience needed to find employment or to start their own business ventures. Our youth group believes that, due to its unique structure, our S2B is going to have an incredible immediate but also lasting impact. We have worked hard to create a project which will be efficient on the long run and which will directly affect an important amount of youngsters. The strategic peer to peer idea is conceived to create a snowball effect, thus involving and consequently attracting more and more youth to help other young people through entrepreneurial knowledge. The project was developed to target these two issues, namely youth unemployment and entrepreneurialism. The objective is to help young people understand the labor markets better and to gain the knowledge and experience needed to find employment or to start their own business ventures. It is also hoped that S2B might bring together some business minds to develop new business ideas which will have a greater national dimension thus fostering cooperation and partnerships between youth for new businesses. In developing this project, we have listened to the concerns and problems of youth, we have brought youth and stakeholders (businesses and labor market players) together to develop a European Solidarity Corps project which will help young people from Germany understand business, the labor market, its needs and help young people find employment in Germany and Europe.
The objectives of our project are to target the huge problem with youth unemployment in Germany and to help young people interested in starting their own business to understand the risks and advantages of starting their own business. By including people who have successfully opened their own business we allow for greater learning by the participants and also for possible new cooperation and opportunities for youth. We believe that this project will help young people in our society to solve the problems with youth unemployment and also will help to boost the local economies.
